About Us

The Suffolk Hockey Association (SHA) is affiliated to England Hockey (EH) and Eastern Region Hockey Association (ERHA) and bound by their Constitution and Bye-laws.

Our Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the SHA, which opposes all forms of discrimination include:

(a) To actively encourage, promote, develop and control hockey for males and females throughout the county, including indoor and mixed hockey and such other forms of hockey as may be decided by the Executive Committee, amongst all sections of the community and in so doing undertakes to ensure that 'Sports Equity' (i.e. fairness) is practised. This includes ensuring that opportunities are provided for young people, black and ethnic minority groups and people with disabilities at a level appropriate to their needs and aspirations.
